Former Barisan Nasional (BN) secretary-general Annuar Musa slammed PPBM leaders for urging Umno to reveal the results of the party’s Supreme Working Council meeting in Janda Baik, Pahang, saying no party had veto power over Umno.
Annuar, who previously criticized some Umno leaders seen as familiar with JYSEP said the party should not be too eager to know about the internal Umno not to mention the party’s views do not understand how the Malay party to manage the party and politics.
“I think there is no need for PPBM to be too passionate about Umno’s internal issues, let alone for those who are still new. They do not yet understand the political way of Umno, they should be silent.
“MKT Umno has its own wisdom, it has tradition and experience through various political situations.
“I believe that is what is happening. It may be that the ‘meeting on the mountain’ during the day is disturbing to many parties, even members (Umno), “he said on Facebook.
Earlier, PPBM Supreme Leadership Council member, Muhammad Faiz Na’aman asked Umno to reveal the official results of the party’s MKT meeting recently.
For him, it is important for them to plan a campaign either jointly or separately to face the next general election.
Annuar, however, said that although Umno did not reveal the official results of the meeting, the effect of the “silence” could be heard clearly everywhere.
“Give Umno space to manage its own problems. Umno is able to find its own solution point.
“No one can veto anyone in Umno because Umno belongs to its members. Members who determine. Be patient, “he said.
It is previously reported that Umno leadership meeting had decided to separate from PPBM and the Perikatan Nasional coalition in the next general election.
This is likely to cause Barisan Nasional (BN) to contest the election on its own ticket.
